YOUR SUPPORT MEANS LIGHT!
As Ukraine faces its third winter during the war, this one is set to be especially tough. Power outages have become a daily struggle, but Ukrainians continue to push forward despite the darkness, literally and figuratively. Ukrainians work, and live, even when the lights go out.
EUROPE NEEDS A PIECE OF BRAVERY
As we mark 1000 days of the full-scale war in Europe, the humanitarian crisis continues to escalate, leaving a profound impact on the lives of millions. The unprovoked aggression of russia in Ukraine has resulted in devastating losses and widespread destruction, affecting children, families, and communities across the nation and beyond.
WE CALL ON THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
Ukrainian prisoners of war in russian captivity are facing violations of international humanitarian law, and being deprived of basic rights including medical care and communication with their families. They become victims of violence, torture, and humiliation.
WATER TO EVERY HOME
More than one million people in Ukraine are grappling with severe water shortages following the catastrophic Kakhovka Dam explosion. An estimated 310,000 children in the Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions are currently facing lack od water supplies, and around 700,000 people urgently need assistance to obtain safe drinking water.
About us
Mission
At LUkraine, our mission is clear and unwavering - to support the people of Ukraine in their pursuit of peace, stability, and prosperity. We strive to deliver essential humanitarian aid to those affected by the ongoing unprovoked and unjustified Russian aggression, to amplify the voices of Ukrainians in the international arena, and to promote Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Through our work, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of Ukraine's cultural heritage and advocate for the values of freedom, democracy, and human rights.
Vision
We envision a future where Ukraine thrives as a vibrant, independent, and democratic nation, respected and supported by the global community. In this future, the scars of unprovoked and unjustified Russian aggression are healed, and the Ukrainian people are empowered to build a peaceful and prosperous society. LUkraine seeks to be at the forefront of these efforts, bridging the gap between Luxembourg and Ukraine, and serving as a beacon of hope, solidarity, and compassion in the face of adversity.
What we do
Public diplomacy is at the heart of LUkraine’s mission. We work tirelessly to ensure that the international community understands the importance of supporting Ukraine and advocating for its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and democratic values.
Bringing Ukraine closer to NATO and the European Union by enhancing partnership and fostering cooperation is our primary goal.
The impact of unprovoked and unjustified Russian aggression extends far beyond the battlefield.
At LUkraine, our program’s focus is divided into 3 layers:
- save lives
- rebuild people
- rebuild Ukraine
Cultural exchange and dialogue are essential for building bridges between communities and cultivating mutual understanding.
At LUkraine, our cultural dialogue initiatives promote Ukrainian heritage, art, and traditions while fostering meaningful connections between Ukraine and other nations.
Education is a cornerstone of a brighter future, especially for children and youth affected by unprovoked and unjustified Russian aggression.
At LUkraine, we are committed to providing educational opportunities that empower the next generation of Ukrainians to rebuild their lives and communities.
